I have given it an average review and not a lower one because it is still a large casino, but am surprised they don't seem to realize Four Winds is only about a half hour from them and so much nicer. So sorry it has gone downhill, because I genuinely loved it when I wrote my previous review. On the good side, we decided to try Grand Victoria and won a lot of money, so we aren't bothering to go back to this nasty unfriendly broken down place.
My husband felt horrible for telling me to sit down so he cashed out and we left. I am a pretty laid back person but was deeply offended as I do not like to be demeaned in public. Less than a minute later the table game supervisor came over and told me to play or leave my seat. He offered me a seat so I took it as there were many others empty. After dropping a lot of money in a very short time on slots, I walked over to my husband at a less than half full card table. Worst of all, the staff there are not at all friendly. The carpet is raggedy and disgusting, the overall appearance of this casino is a big dirty mess. The slots have been tight and the pay on them is smaller. No top dollar, broken wizard of oz and similar machines.
I have overlooked that many of my favorite slots simply aren't here or are perpetually broken. There has definitely been an overall decline. I've been here periodically since I last reviewed Horseshoe several years ago.
